Ok. I’ve been stewing a little, and part of that is just patience waiting for the full thing to come out from behind the curtain.

Joel and I tried a new audio setup this week and it didn’t work as well as we would have liked. There’s a little audio clipping and breakup. It gets worse as the discussion continued, so we hung up and connected again over a land line. There’s a little break in continuity in the middle of the recording. That’s where I’ve spliced it together.

Today’s recording is a little different from the previous ones. Joel’s on a trip through India and we got caught up in a discussion of the places and things he’s seen along the way. There’s not much about SharePoint here, but the travel adventures with Michael Noel riding shotgun are an entertaining listen.

Joel Oleson and I got a chance to catch up today. We’re back on track to continue with our weekly series of broadcasts. We hadn’t spoken for a while, so there is a wide diversity of subjects covered. We did run 5 minutes over our usual 15 minute limit, but I think it was well worth it.

Joel has been on the road with Eric for the past two weeks, so we haven’t had a chance to do our weekly recordings. Howevever, they’ve been very good and documenting there travels with pictures from various outings.

After a little break from recording, Joel and I are back at it. In this week’s segment we cover everything from the controversy created by the release of 2010 information to the plethora of babys being born to SharePoint geeks. Have a listen…

Joel Oleson has published an article on dealing with SharePoint spam comments. If you have a public facing site with a SharePoint blog receiving comments, this is a must read. The last time I checked, my comment spam blocker on this site caught over 40,000 pieces of junk.
