I’m in LA this week speaking at the Experts Conference. I’m trying a little experiment here with Shutterfly to see how their image manager works. I’ll be uploading new images throughout the day and the little widget below should pickup all the new entries.
Many times we see people approach SharePoint with the idea of “Tell me what SharePoint is, and I’ll let you know if I can use it or not.” This is a tough one to get around for two reasons. First, there’s no such thing as a 30 second overview of SharePoint. Second, talking about a technology does not show how it can be used to solve problems.
Last week EUSP was accused of being a “cesspool of bad practices“. Rather than argue the point, I decided to fully embrace the concept of cesspoolism. I put out the word on twitter, saying I was looking for an acronym for ‘cesspool’ that would best define EndUserSharePoint.com.
