When new items are added to lists and libraries in SharePoint, a cute little icon appears next to each list item for 2 days after the creation date. When a data view web part is created, this icon does not exist by default, so it [...]
In the previous three articles of this series, I presented an overview of how to structure a SharePoint Multi-Media Resource Center. I have created a screencast that walks through the finished solution to give you an idea of how it will look to the End User, including the transparent access to external videos and resources through the implementation of LyteBox.
Here at End User SharePoint I have been working hard to create and collect SharePoint videos for your viewing pleasure. The goal is to have an organized repository for publicly accessible SharePoint screencasts and videos.
We’re averaging about five per day so make sure to check back often.

I’ve had over 50 requests in the past two weeks asking for the “Create a SharePoint Multi-Media Resource Center” live online workshop, so I’ve scheduled one for July 21st. You can read the entire description and watch a six minute screencast of the solutions if this sounds of interest.
This is week two of our weekly broadcast with Joel Oleson of SharePointJoel.com. As requested, there are now minute markers and direct links to resources beneath the recording. The iTunes podcast will be available within two days.
We look forward to your feedback and recommendations on topics for future recordings.
