Or what if you just want to drop a Twitter search into any old SharePoint page, rather than a full Results page? And more critical – what if you don’t have direct access to the SharePoint server in order to install binary web part and feature – with or without a Solution Package (WSP)?
The live streams are setup. There are a couple ways to view them. Go to the Live Media Streams page. There are four panels. You can activate all panels, or choose only the ones you’d like to view. Here’s how they are setup.
It’s too hard to keep up with all the content flowing into tweedeck from the conference, so I’ve setup a live twitter feed using the conference’s main hash. There’s a new Twitter search engine out called Topsy. Interesting playground, that one. Spent a couple minutes and it helped me realize that some people know how to use the word “SharePoint” in their tweets, and some don’t. I’d have to put myself in the latter category.
