Create a Master Calendar in SharePoint

I’ve had about a half dozen requests in the past couple days to schedule the Create a Master Calendar in SharePoint live online workshop. Ok, you’ve got it: Friday, May 1 at 1:00pm EST.

This workshop is a step-by-step creation of a Master Calendar solution in SharePoint. It includes the creation of content types, applying the content types to generate custom views in a master calendar and then exposing those views in team subsites.

All web parts, javascripts and documentation will be provided. Each participant will be given a SharePoint site in which to practice setting up the Master Calendar, including subsites for testing its functionality. Demo screencast is on the way…

Update: View the demo.

If you need a Master Calendar, read the details and register for next week’s live online workshop.

Could you use Silverlight instead of LyteBox? If so, what would you need to change?

  2. Amy – Probably, but since I don’t use SilverLight, I wouldn’t even know where to point you. — Mark

is there any simple way to hide the unrelated event items for each of the child (specific event) lists?

if the user just clicks new item then it will be the right event for that list – how can I hide the rest from that user?

excellent work and love your web site

    thanks
