3 Minute Screencast: Use DVWP to display all files, even those stored in folders!
This short screencast is a visual walk-through of Laura’s previous article, Data View Web Part, The Basics – Folders. In this session, she demonstrates how to display all files within a library, even when those files are stored in multiple folders.
Laura’s is leading a live online workshop this Friday, May 15th: Getting Started w/ the Data View Web Part. She will cover the basics solutions with the DVWP for those with little to no experience with SharePoint Designer. Please join us.

Regarding the folders bit – you can do that with a standard view (and, therefore, a ListView Web Part) too – it’s near the bottom of the page in a collapsed section when you ‘Modify this View’.
Hi Laura,
Thanks for the wonderful information. Just wanted to add little more information. This works fine only for a library from within the same site but for a library from a different site It shows error. DO you know how to show files(within folders) from a library on a different site within the same site collection?
Regards
