Final Call: Live Online Workshop – Hack the SharePoint Interface, No Code Required!

Tomorrow at 1:00pm EST, I’ll be moderating another live online workshop on how to utilize Content Editor Web Part to Hack the SharePoint Interface – No Code Required!

Solutions for this workshop include:

  1. Automatically create a scroll window for large amounts of text
  2. Manage messaging with a central “Message of the Day” (MOTD) panel
  3. Quick Launch Manager
    • Remove View All Content heading
    • Hide access to the recycle bin
    • Reclaim the entire quick launch space in calendar
  4. Display a count down timer, with time left to a specific event
  5. Activate “Press F1 for Help!” context sensitive menu
  6. Link two web parts to create an in-line page viewer

Read more details and register for the workshop using the button below. To see an example of the type of things we will cover, view this morning’s screencast, Create a Message of the Day Web Part.

Great training and I will be using some of the things I learned. I hope to take more classes from EndUserSharePoint. I have paid for two classes (out of my pocket), just have to come up with a ‘great’ justification to get my company to pay for it.

    Hi Mark,
Are you going to make this available for us to down load so we can review it. I’m always looking for new things to teach our staff. I’ve been adding more ‘How-to’ slides to our IT department SharePoint FAQ/training site. I am getting more requests for classes! It’s all about ‘job security’ :)
