This Week in SharePoint with Joel…

Hey, this is Joel Oleson of SharePointJoel.com. I have teamed up with Mark Miller and EndUserSharePoint.com to provide a new feature, This Week in SharePoint with Joel, a weekly series of recorded audio broacasts on everything SharePoint.

This 15 minute weekly broadcast features my perspective of the SharePoint world and everything that’s happening in it. I cover everything from commentary on SharePoint team blog posts, to new whitepapers and articles of interest, to a rundown of conversations and threads on Twitter. I’ll include interviews with SharePoint MVPs and topics from the most recent conferences as well. No SharePoint topics are off limits.

Why am I doing this? As a SharePoint user, you’re getting information overload on SharePoint. There’s Twitter, RSS feeds, conferences, hundreds of blogs, news articles, product rollouts. The information is coming at you like a firehose with no filter.

This Week in SharePoint with Joel will help you put the SharePoint information overload in perspective. I look forward to your input and comments as we rollout our first broadcast on May 25th!

Stay tuned…

Will details be in the weekly newsletter? If not, is there an auto-notification system we should use?

Awesome! I must admit I suffer from information fatigue daily. End of week is smart timing as we can listen to this over the weekend outside the distractions at the office.

Any word on iTunes podcasting? Make it easy to download?

  7. Ricknology says:

I like the iTunes idea as well. Look forward to it either way.

This is going to help a LOT of people. Can’t wait to listen!
