Live from Best Practices Conference 2009: Free online sessions

We’ve got the streaming media page for all the tweets and live blogging coming out of Best Practices 2009, but on Wednesday, we’re going to add something major to the mix.

We’re going to stick a web cam in a couple of the sessions and stream them live, so you won’t feel so left out. Here’s the list of what we’re going to try to stream:

8:30am – 9:40am
10 things you wish they told you about SharePoint 2007
Sahil Malik

9:55am – 11:05am
Best Practices for Developing Web Parts
Todd Bleeker

12:30pm – 1:40pm
Mind Mapping for the Information Architect
Ruven Gotz

1:55pm – 3:05pm
SharePoint, jQuery, and the Content Editor Web Part
Peter Serzo

Wicked problems and SharePoint – “The one best practice to rule them all”
Paul Culmsee

Records Management Best Practices in SharePoint
Zlantan Dzinic

Notice that there’s three tracks scheduled at 1:55pm, EST. That’s where I need your help. Since we only have one camera, which track would you like to see the most? Most votes gets the camera in the session.

You’ll be able to follow all the activity with blogs, tweets, recorded videos and live streams on the Best Practices Conference Streaming Live Media page.

Make your vote count. Which session should be do at 1:55pm?

    Very cool Mark!

What inspired this design? Or was it all yours? The layout is very sharp and let us see more content at a glance. Thanks for posting live coverage for those of us who couldn’t make the trip this year.

  2. Matt says:

I vote for Paul’s wicked problems session.

    Thanks!

  3. AJ says:

I vote for the SharePoint & jQuery session. Thanks for offering this service for those of us who couldn’t make the trip.

  4. I, too, vote for Paul’s Wicked Problems and SharePoint.

    Blessings,
    Jim Bob

  5. Natalie says:

I vote for the jquery session!

  6. Jeff – It is my design and setup. I’ve been tweaking it out using SharePoint Saturday as my testing grounds. The current format seems to work well for everyone. — Mark

Were these recorded to be watched again later? Or just streamed live? Thanks!
