Feedback: Live online Easy Tabs Interface for SharePoint

Christophe Humbert from Path to SharePoint just completed delivering a tremendous session on how to utilize his Easy Tabs Interface. Instead of me sounding like an infomercial, I’ll let the participants tell you about it.

If what you hear from them gets you excited, leave a comment and we’ll book another session very soon. What follows is unedited comments from the participants.

Update: Christophe now has a dedicated forum on Stump the Panel to handle any questions about the use of his web parts. This forum will be used to help people who took the workshop and are using V3 of the solutions.

The web parts in the workshop include:

  • EasyTabs_Accordion.dwp
  • EasyTabs_CustomStyle.dwp
  • EasyTabs_MultipageTheme.dwp
  • QuickMenu_CustomStyle.dwp
  • QuickMenu_MultipageTheme.dwp

An excellent presentation of a much needed feature in an easy to deploy package. Christophe and Mark seemed like they had worked together for years in coordinating a most informative session. Will use right away!

  2. Allyn Easter says:

Wow! Now I don’t need to scroll down through endless content on a single page. Christophe’s solutions were amazing and his explanations were easy to follw. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in custom touches without the requirement for code mods.

  3. Harsha Harish says:

Wasnt able to attend today …due to time clash.. but would we have a repeat session or would the information be available anywhere..?

  4. Don Fairfax says:

Excellent session! Christophe is quite gracious to allow us to deploy his code on our sites; I’m very grateful for his hard work and willingness to share.

Mark…keep up the great work; I wish I had come across EUSP a year ago when we embarked on the project of developing an IM site based on SharePoint technologies.

  5. Awesome session! Christophe has created a wonderful product. I have spent the entire day playing around with the Web Part for Easy Tabs. The great thing about Christophe’s work is that he has documented and commented each part of the code. For those of us who like to “get our hands dirty” and play around in the code, his coded comments were very helpful. I love the rounded corners and how easy they are to implement. Thanks, Mark and Christophe, for sharing this session with us.

  6. I’ve setup a new forum in Stump the Panel with Christophe as moderator. If you have questions about using the web parts, he’s ready and standing by. As a matter of fact, he’s already put two topics up to help a little with your use of his web parts.

Absolutely Priceless! Christophe’s solution is remarkable… easy to deploy, easy to use, and customizable. I’ve been looking for something like the Easy Tabs Web Part for a while and this far exceeded my expectations. Many thanks to Christophe for developing and sharing this amazing tool. Mark, keep up the good work at EUSP, the site is fantastic.

  10. Astatke says:

Excellent presentation. Big thank you to Christoph for sharing these elegant User Interface features. Keep up the good job Mark!!!

  11. Bill Corrigan says:

Easy Tabs V3 is a major improvement over V2. I love that it is now drag and drop, no CEWP editing required to use, but if you want, you can customize.

It adapts to your theme if you change it, it now has support for two rows (as well as a replacement/addition to the quick menu and the accordion style.

Take the workshop. Mark does a great job of moderating, Christophe’s ideas are indispensable and you get code to use! What a deal.

  12. Errett Cord says:

    Great Session.

I will be using these webparts with several new projects.

    Keep up the great work.
