Keeping Content Fresh and Available
How do you get people to view content that isn’t on the front page of your site? Darren Rowse at ProBlogger.net has an article and video that will get you to start thinking about how to create references to other content within your new and existing content.
I just discovered Darren’s site and must say, I’m really impressed with what he’s trying to do. I’ll be checking in daily.
Yes, Darren IS amazing. I was a bit surprised (in a good way) to see that you mention him in your SharePoint blog, but content is content, right? No matter if it’s content on a blog, a website, or a SharePoint site.
If you don’t mind, I’m going to link to your latest article about the free weather magnet webpart on my site for my regular readers of all things SharePoint. I think they’re going to LUV it. Thanks for making it available.
EndUserSharePoint.com is still my very favorite site about SharePoint. Thanks for doing such a great job and continually offering great content to the vast majority of regular old SharePoint users. There are so few blogs or sites dedicated to content for them. They’re mostly for the SharePoint admin or developer.
Side note: Is this a new site design for you? Nice to see you using Wordpress and a StudioPress theme. Looks really good.
Anyway, enough rambling. Have a great day.
Andrea
Andrea – Haven’t spoken in a while. Been watching you promote the social media stuff from the sidelines. Nope, I’ve been using WordPress since day one. I have redone the StudioPress theme to be more flexible, but I still give Brian credit for the original design. Regards — Mark
